Once Moderna is sold out, the Foundation hopes to work going forward to raise additional money to create a permanent endowment for The Miller House. It can then be preserved in perpetuity without the expenses of upkeep falling on the Moderna owners. The Foundation believes that once The Miller House is part of a cloistered community of art-first/earth-first homes, raising endowment money will be much easier. The project will have had major exposure at all levels, so permanent fundraising is not quite so challenging. The Foundation intends to work with Global Advancement (Robert K. Lewis III) of Lexington, Kentucky on the permanent endowment.
